Summary
This is my first experience working with scales. I soon found out how
tricky it is to make them stay in place when using them in sculpture. This
flower was made in two evenings and is hopefully the first of many. The
stem and leaves are nothing new, being of quite the same design as those
seen on Flower 2 (albeit with smaller rings).
