Summary

A chainmail castle. I started it in July 2002. This is an ongoing project that I will keep adding to, similar to what sakredchao did with his chainmail house of housliness.

The most recent addition after over four years in wait is the drawbridge. It is fully functional, with a crank mechanism mounted on the back wall. Two hoist chains are run between the crank and the drawbridge. Two additional chains run from the tops of the sides of the drawbridge to near the top of the door opening.

July 2002: Started project.
June 2003: Finished all wall sections & battlements.
July 2003: Installed floor. Picture 1

December 2007: Added a fully functioning drawbridge and crank mechanism.
